Livelihoods Program
This programme provides opportunities for self-employment and entrepreneurship. Here are a few of the skills training courses we currently conduct.
The sewing certification class for women qualifies them for a government subsidized sewing machine upon completion. The class promotes both income generation as well as village unity – community building efforts by Grampari have resulted in high caste and low caste women overcoming their differences and attending the classes together.
In partnership with the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), the solar lantern course provides self-employment opportunities for village youth by teaching both technical and entrepreneurship skills.
Grampari has well equipped Computer Lab with internet connection. We provide e-learning based MS-CIT Training and basic computer education.
Apart from above programs we also provide Industrial training in Leaf plate making, Knitting , Embroidery, Mobile Repairing and Brick making.
